Social cartography for the diagnosis of communities / Cartografía social para el diagnostico de comunidades

Through the methodology of social cartography, we will conduct a workshop in order to recognize our geographical spaces and how we symbolically inhabit them. As Habegger and Mancila (2006: 6) state, social cartography allows us to know and build an integral knowledge of the territory for that a better way of living that can be collectively chosen, from a better understanding of the territorial reality, of how we live in the territory we inhabit, and how we build the future territory that we want.

A través de la metodología de la cartografía social realizaremos un taller de reconocimiento de nuestros espacios geograficos y como habitamos dichos espacios simbólicamente, tal como Habegger y Mancila (2006:6) menciona, la cartografía social permite conocer y construir un conocimiento integral del territorio para que se pueda elegir colectivamente una mejor manera de vivirlo, desde una mejor comprensión de la realidad territorial, de cómo vivimos el territorio que habitamos y cómo construimos el futuro territorio que deseamos.

Born in 1995 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. Graduated with a degree in Anthropology from the University of Guadalajara, 2013-2017. Interested in social issues and enthusiast of ethnographic photography.
Since university, she has been interested in approaching communities with narratives of systemic violence and vulnerablity.

She has worked in various institutions in the area of ​​linking with the community, developing participatory methodologies, generating bonds of trust and operational management of processes. All of the above within Social Entrepreneurship Mexico, the Secretariat of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU) and with the Colectivo Tomate, where she currently coordinates the community processes of the projects and safeguards the association's elicitive action methodology.

Nacida en 1995 en la ciudad de Guadalajara, Jalisco. Egresada de la licenciatura en Antropología de la Universidad de Guadalajara, 2013-2017. Interesada en los temas sociales y entusiasta de la fotografía etnográfica.
Desde la etapa universitaria se interesó en al acercamiento a comunidades con narrativas de violencia y vulneradas sistémicamente.

Ha trabajado en diversas instituciones en el área de de vinculación con comunidad, desarrollando las metodologías participativas, generación de vínculos de confianza y gestión operativo de procesos. Todo lo anterior dentro de Emprendimiento Social México, la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agrario, Territorial y Urbano (SEDATU) y con el Colectivo Tomate, donde actualmente coordina los procesos comunitarios de los proyectos y resguarda la metodología de acción elicitiva de la asociación.
