HyoYoung Minna Kim

HyoYoung Minna Kim is convinced that she is a late-bloomer experiencing this human existence with the grace of a newborn fawn. After eleven years of teaching, she has recently resigned from her role as a classroom educator and active union member, and has moved out of her quaint apartment-sanctuary. She is currently existing in the chrysalis of goopy imaginal cells. Minna is a big believer of body-wisdom, community-driven initiatives, transformative justice, critical thinking, the magic of diverse children’s literature, and most of all, lots of rest and play.

HyoYoung Minna Kim está convencida de que ha tenido la experiencia de haber florecido tardiamente en esta existencia humana con la gracia de un cervatillo recién nacido. Después de once años de enseñanza, recientemente renunció a su papel como educadora en el aula y miembro activo del sindicato, y se mudó de su pintoresco apartamento-santuario. Actualmente existe en la crisálida de células imaginales pegajosas. Minna es una gran creyente de la sabiduría del cuerpo, las iniciativas impulsadas por la comunidad, la justicia transformadora, el pensamiento crítico, la magia de la literatura infantil diversa y, sobre todo, mucho descanso y juego.
